Claire Scott

Claire has several roles within the company, all committed to the continual improvement of Compressed Air Solutions Ltd.  As Quality Management Representative she is responsible for the management of our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.  As Health and Safety Officer and Environmental Officer, she is responsible for ensuring that the company is compliant with legislative requirements; development and implementation of policies; retention of accreditations; staff training and awareness and continual improvement of our  management systems.

Key achievements include:

  • Company accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 in July 2011 and maintaining this accreditation through to 2017, including transition through to the new 9001:2015 standard.
  • Achieving and maintaining Safe Contractor and CHAS accreditation annually since April 2011 to present.
  • Changing the perceptions of the employees towards health and safety.

Prior to joining Compressed Air Solutions in 2010, Claire worked for Hays plc for 13 years. Her first ten years were spent working on the recruitment of trades and labour for public and private sector organisations within the construction industry.   Her final three years were spent in the education sector, where she was able to transfer her recruitment skills into delivering training in primary and secondary schools.  This work involved delivering training on the skills and qualities that employers were looking for, developing skills, CV writing, interview skills and presentation skills etc.
